Good WordPress forms are concise, accessible, testable and connected to a clear post-submission workflow.

Ask only for information you need. Shorter forms are easier to complete, easier to protect and easier to process responsibly.
Write clear labels
Use visible labels, helpful instructions and specific error messages. Placeholder text should not be the only label.
Design for mobile
Use appropriate field types, large touch targets and a logical reading order. Avoid dense multi-column layouts on small screens.
Test the outcome
Form quality includes what happens after submission: notifications, CRM routing, payment states, confirmation messages and stored entries.
