Stored form entries are useful for operations and troubleshooting, but they also create data-retention and access responsibilities.

Why store entries

Entry storage can provide a backup of submissions, support workflow review and make it easier to search or export collected data.

Limit access

Only people who need submission data should be able to view it. Pay particular attention to uploaded files and personal information.

Set retention intentionally

Do not keep entries forever by default. Decide how long the business actually needs the data and align that with applicable policy or compliance requirements.

Export with care

CSV and spreadsheet exports are convenient but easy to duplicate and share. Treat exported form data with the same care as the original entries.
